From the Hulu series set the relationship started and then Joey King made the first move. Now she is starting a new life with her partner director Steven Piet.
On a trip, Steven proposed to Joshua Tree to celebrate their anniversary. Before that, the sweet couple had been dating for three years.
Joey expressed,
We went on a walk in the freezing cold weather, and Steven described the surroundings as ‘perfectly imperfect. We stopped to take some photos together, and before I knew it, I was getting a tug on my jacket. I turned around, and Steven was on one knee. He said some of the most beautiful things, and we were both crying. We kept the news to ourselves for one day, just absorbing it together before we shared it with anyone”
After the engagement, Joey King and Steven Piet turned their relationship into a wedding. Joey and Steven planned their wedding overseas but they didn’t decide exactly where they wanted to tie the Knot.
Joey explains,
We were looking for something unique and private that felt grand yet intimate at the same time”
